B&R Auto Wrecking has acquired two auto wrecking and salvage yards in Northern California–Oroville Self-Serve in Oroville and Truck World Auto & Truck Dismantlers in Gerber, California. Oroville is located about 50 miles north of Sacramento and Gerber is located on Highway 99, near I5 in Northern California . "These acquisitions are the first in the state of California for B&R," says Senior Business Adviser Brian Perlenfein.

Oroville Self-Serve becomes B&R's 16th facility and Truck World Auto & Truck Dismantlers becomes B&R's 17th facility. They now join the family owned company started in 1980. B&R Auto Wrecking also has three locations in Nevada, nine in Oregon, and three in Washington State. The yard will begin to add late model car and truck salvage to serve collision repair shops and retail customers. Much of the inventory was purchased from local insurance auctions. Oroville Self Serve was formerly owned and operated by Jerome, Joyce and Bear Johnson. Prior to becoming a B&R full service auto recycling facility, this big dismantling yard was birthed in the combination of the old B&E and Nick’s located on Feather River Boulevard.
