Recently, we were able to partner up with one Washingtonian, named Edy, to help him replace the engine is his Acura. We asked him a couple questions about his experience. With his permission, we'd like to share some of that conversation with you below.

B&R: "Edy, what brought you to B&R when you were looking for a replacement engine?"

Edy: "About a year or so ago the engine blew on my 1994 Acura Integra. I turned to most of my local junk yards for replacement but I was met with nothing but unreliable warranties and shady "tests" and "AS IS" statements from the typical junkyard salesmen."

B&R: That sounds about par for the course. But you're experience with B&R was different?"

Edy: "Yes, of course. I turned to B&R Auto Wrecking because I had heard of them, I spoke on the phone with a guy named TJ who provided me with the BEST customer service I have ever encountered. He made me feel like I was buying a reliable engine; which turned out to be! I bought a Honda B18 engine with 140k mile. I'm at about 160k miles and it's still going strong!!! I looked around at other junk yards and went with the one who quoted me a fair price and actually guaranteed my engine to meet compression standards."

B&R: "Is there anything else you would want to share with other people looking for replacement auto parts about your ongoing experience working with B&R?"

Edy: "Your customer service reps are exceptionally professional. They don't fit with the common "car people" stereotypes. That engine I bought is still going strong because you guys did a reliable compression test. I work in the automotive industry and I refer my customers to you guys anytime they need an engine part or body part. Thanks a lot!!
